It is with great joy that I welcome you to the Department of Soil Resources and Environmental Management, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti. As a Department, we are very passionate about sharing knowledge with our students and the world at large. The Department is made up of talented, capable scholars and academic that handle teaching and research activities within and outside the University.  Members of staff are active researchers who are willing to impact knowledge in their various fields. Soil Resources and Environmental Management programme of Ekiti State University is envisioned to produce high academic standard with appropriate practical knowledge as well as sound theoretical background targeted at making significant impact in the Agriculture and related industries. The teaching curricula are targeted towards equipping our undergraduate and postgraduate students with skills that will fit into any agricultural organisations, research institutes, oil and gas companies, government establishments, industries and consulting organizations after graduation. The Department offers degrees leading to B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Phil./Ph.D. and Ph.D. Graduates of this programme, since its inception, have received global acceptance in various job opportunities in both industrial and academic spheres. Our graduates have provided skilled manpower for many Universities and industries in Nigeria and overseas. We will continue to contribute to the development of the nation in the area of research and governmental establishments.
