Prof. Omotoso, Solomon Olusegun

Prof. Omotoso, Solomon Olusegun graduated from the Department of Agronomy, University of Ibadan, Nigeria with Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree (Second Class Lower Division) in Crop Science in 1993. He also obtained the Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Soil Fertility (1998) and the Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D) in Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition from the same University in 2012.
He joined the services of University of Ado Ekiti, (now Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti) on 2nd of May, 2001 as Assistant Lecturer. He rose through the academic ladder to the position of a Professor on 1st October, 2018. As a researcher, he has over forty scientific publications to his credit in both local and international journals. He is a member of Soil Science Society of Nigeria (SSSN), International Union of Soil Science (IUSS), and Horticultural Society of Nigeria (HORTSON). He is external examiner, assessor to some universities and a reviewer to some local and international journals.
