Prof (Mrs.) Adeola Abiola Oso

Prof (Mrs.) Adeola Abiola Oso holds a Ph.D. in Pest Management from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. She had her postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of the Free State in South Africa.

Prof (Mrs.) A.A. Oso joined the services of Ekiti State University in February 2005 as an Assistant Lecturer and was appointed a Professor in October 2020. She has mentored undergraduate and postgraduate students and served on various Departmental, Faculty, and University Committees. She served as a departmental-level coordinator from 2006 to 2016 and was a member of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences Postgraduate Board. She was a member of the committee that reviewed the departmental curriculum and final-year students’ project writing format. She is currently a representative of the senate at the directorate of continuing education programmes and a faculty representative at the office of Ekiti State Research, Development, and Innovation.

Prof (Mrs.) A.A. Oso has published articles in local and international peer-reviewed journals and international conference annals. She has been privileged to attend international trainings and workshops. Her research interest focuses on developing products regarding plant protection and sustainably managing pests attacking economic crops to achieve food sustainability and security. She was appointed the Head of Department on August 1st 2023.
